On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day, students of Patanjali University showcased exceptional talent and brought laurels to the university by participating in various state-level competitions.

University student Yashasvi Thakur secured second place in the State-Level Solo Classical Dance Competition, setting a remarkable example of Patanjali University’s excellence in talent and cultural values. Her achievement not only made the university proud but also reaffirmed how yoga- and culture-based education plays a vital role in the holistic development of students.

Meanwhile, the university’s group dance team bagged the fifth position in the Group Dance Competition, captivating everyone with their outstanding coordination, graceful expressions, and cultural finesse. Their soulful and melodious performances impressed both the panel of judges and the audience present in the auditorium.

In the same series of events, a team of students from Patanjali University secured second place (first runner-up) in the Millet-Based Culinary and Cultural Presentation Competition. Their creative presentation—featuring nutritious millet-based dishes, traditional folk performances, and a health awareness message—particularly impressed the judges.

Additionally, another talented student from the university received a consolation prize in the State-Level Sketching Competition, reflecting the university’s commitment to nurturing art and creativity.

Students of Patanjali University also participated in short film making, debate, quiz, photography, and handicrafts competitions, showcasing their multifaceted abilities and proudly representing the university across diverse categories.

The winners of these state-level competitions, held to mark the Silver Jubilee of Uttarakhand Statehood, were felicitated with trophies, cash prizes, and certificates of appreciation.

Expressing joy over the students’ success, the university administration stated that these achievements are a result of the dedicated guidance, yoga-ethics-based education system, and the sincere efforts of the students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, officers, and faculty members of Patanjali University congratulated all participating students and extended their best wishes for their bright future.
